Stored locally.

The website stores virtual balances, trades, positions and settings in this browser's IndexedDB storage. The extension stores its separate wallet in its own browser storage, together with panel preferences. The My PnL dashboard can read the extension wallet only after you approve this website using Connect website in the extension. Access is read-only and limited to the approved website in this browser. Your balance, paper positions and history are sent directly between the extension and this page, never uploaded to a Paper account or server. You can revoke access from the dashboard or extension settings; a wallet reset/import invalidates the previous approval. The separate website trading wallet remains independent.

Use Export to back up your data. Reset your wallet to clear the current records, or remove site data in your browser. Uninstalling the extension removes its local copy.

Public market requests.

The app sends token searches, mint addresses and pool addresses to DEX Screener, GeckoTerminal and public Solana RPC providers to fetch public market data. Those services receive ordinary network information, including your IP address. Wallet balances and trade history are not sent with those requests.

Hosting providers receive ordinary requests necessary to deliver the website. Paper adds no behavioral analytics or advertising scripts.

On trading websites.

The extension reads the current page URL and public token details on supported sites to identify a Solana market. Where the exact contract can be verified, it reads the displayed public USD price and its observation time to update your paper position. It adds its own separate panel and removes it when you leave the token page. Browser navigation events cancel pending virtual orders when their tab reloads or navigates away. Events for unrelated tabs are ignored; Paper does not keep a browsing-history log. Page quotes stay in the extension; the selected contract or pool may be sent to the listed market-data services for a quote or SOL conversion. It does not inspect passwords, private keys, wallet secrets or account balances. Manual contract entry works if the route cannot be resolved. Third-party terminals remain independent services with their own privacy policies.

Paper is not affiliated with Papertrade, MockApe, Axiom, GMGN, Terminal, DEX Screener or GeckoTerminal. Product and service names describe references or compatibility, not sponsorship.
